  • 1 I am suffering from VERTIGO and I am currently undergoing treatment for the same since 4 years. If I start Homeopathic Treatment, do I need to discontinue them?

Eventually, you can discontinue your conventional medicines.

  • 2 I have VERTIGO and I get attacks of dizziness anytime and anywhere. It becomes difficult for me to manage myself that time. What should I do at that time?

    When you feel that you will get an attack of dizziness, immediately take hold of the nearest support available, for example a pillar or any stationary object. Get into a position which is most stable and comfortable and keep yourself as still as possible. If moving becomes necessary, do it very slowly and carefully. Close your eyes or keep them fixed on objects in front of you.

    Eventually, once there is improvement, start moving gradually. It is also very important, that you should not panic and become anxious.

    Moving very quickly or rapidly can become harmful. You should not turn your head suddenly.

  • 3 I have been diagnosed with VERTIGO. Are there are any precautionary measures that I need to take?

    You should take maximum care of yourself that you can if you have VERTIGO. You should save yourself from head injury by wearing a helmet while riding a bike, motorcycle, etc. Avoid salt, caffeine, tobacco and alcohol. Ensure that you reduce the amount of emotional stress in your life.

    You can have fresh fruits, salads and vegetables, low-fat milk, yoghurt etc, vitamin B rich diet that includes whole wheat, oats, lentils etc., Potassium rich food like spinach, lettuce, tomatoes etc, lean meat; poultry; fish, etc

    Foods with high salt content should be avoided like: Processed cheese, canned, salted or smoked meats, canned vegetables, canned soups, pickles, salted crackers, wafers, chips etc. Baked food with salt and anything with baking soda in it should also be avoided strictly. Ketchups, sauces, soy sauce, MSG-Monosodium Glutamate (ajinomoto) used in Chinese cooking, etc also have very high salt in them and should not be consumed. High calorie food like fatty foods, sweets and desserts, refined food like refined flour etc. should also be avoided.
