Frequently Asked Questions (FAQs)
  • 1 How does Homeopathy treat Chikungunya? Does it have painkillers?

Unlike conventional therapy, Homeopathy does not believe in the concept of "painkillers", "antibiotics" or "steroids". All the medicines are applied on a holistic basis, where the patient is treated, not just the disease or pain.

The carefully selected homeopathic medicine/s works by boosting the immunity of the patient and gives a more lasting relief without the nuisance of unwanted side effects.

Needless to say, homeopathic remedies take care of the pain, weakness, exhaustion, fever and general wellbeing of the Chikungunya patient completely and in a wholesome manner.

  • 2 I have heard that the muscle pains of Chikungunya remain for months after the infection has passed. Is this true and is there treatment for it in Homeopathy?

You have heard correctly. Muscle pains are the most troublesome and obstinate complaints post-Chikungunya, and they are very difficult to eliminate without proper treatment. Most people opt for long-term dependence on painkillers to solve the problem, but they don't cure the pains. They merely suppress the discomfort temporarily.

There is immense scope of improvement in muscle pains with Homeopathy. The correct homeopathic medicine/s tweaks the immune system to fight the pains and gives the patient relief in a shorter span of time.

We have seen and treated hundreds of cases of Chikungunya where a combination of homeopathic treatment and supportive measures have taken care of the pains within just a week.

There are more than 50 remedies in Homeopathy for the treatment of muscle pains and fatigue post-fever. Each remedy is prescribed on the basis of its specific indications and requirements.
