There is no particular diet which guarantees protection against OA. But following diet may be of help-

  • Joint inflammation can be reduced by foods rich in omega-3 fatty acid, especially salmon and tuna, flaxseeds, walnuts, tofu, soybeans.
  • Consume more fresh fruits and vegetables.
  • Avoid canned and processed food.
