  • Epidemic: A widespread occurrence of an infectious disease in a community at a particular time.
  • Aggravation: The state of becoming worse or more serious; exacerbation
  • Amelioration: The act of making something better; improvement
  • Hay fever: Hay fever or Allergic rhinitis is an allergic inflammation of the nasal airways. It occurs when an allergen, such as pollen, dust, or animal dander (particles of shed skin and hair) is inhaled by an individual with a sensitized immune system.
  • Asthma: Asthma is a common chronic inflammatory disease of the airways characterized by wheezing, coughing, chest tightness, and shortness of breath.
  • Eczema: It is an inflammatory condition characterized by itchy, erythematous, vesicular, weeping, and crusting patches of skin.
  • Gout: It is a medical condition usually characterized by recurrent attacks of acute inflammatory arthritis-a red, tender, hot, swollen joint due to increase in uric acid in blood.
  • Crohn's Disease: It is a type of inflammatory bowel disease (IBD) that may affects any part of the gastrointestinal tract from mouth to anus, causing abdominal pain, diarrhea vomiting, or weight loss.
  • Otitis Media: Also known as middle ear infection which usually develops due to viral upper respiratory infection with blockage of the Eustachian tube and effusion in the middle ear, when the middle ear fluid gets additionally infected with bacteria.
