Symptoms of Fibromyalgia
TENDER POINTS:
  • Points 1 & 2: Base of the neck on both sides
  • Points 3 & 4: Mid-chest near the second rib on both sides.
  • Points 5 & 6: Bony portion of the hip on both sides.
  • Points 7 & 8: Both knees
  • Points 9 & 10: Back of the neck, just below the head
  • Points 11 & 12: The highest portion between the shoulder and the neck on both sides.
  • Points 13 & 14: Upper back near the center on both sides.
  • Points 15 & 16: Both elbows
  • Points 17 & 18: Upper portion of the buttocks, both sides.

Patients suffering from Fibromyalgia may also have other co-existing conditions like Irritable Bowel Syndrome, Chronic Fatigue Syndrome, certain stress related disorders like Depression, Post-Traumatic Stress Disorder, etc.
