Definition

Infantile Colic has defined as rule of three where a healthy infant cries suddenly and the crying lasts for more than 3 hours a day, more than 3 days a weeks and longer than 3 weeks.

The word colic means unexpected spasm or painful tightening of a muscle independent of age. When colic occurs in infants, it is termed as infantile colic.
