A 32 year old male patient had come for homeopathic treatment for his Bell�s palsy. He had been treated by various doctors but without any relief. He had right sided facial paralysis since last 2 months. There was drooping of upper eyelids and he had a double vision as a result. There was numbness and twitching of the face. He felt a sudden anxiety and a trembling sensation on his face few days before he started developing paralysis. He felt very lethargic and depressed because of his illness He was given Gelsemium. With homeopathy, he felt some relief within 2 weeks and his muscles did not feel much weaker. In 3 weeks, he was able to close his mouth and chew his food properly and had developed a proper control over his facial muscles. Within 2 months, he was recovered from Bell�s palsy.
