1] Toss a light salad- Turkey Cranberry Salad
- 2 turkey breast pieces
- 4 tsp olive oil
- 2 onions, thinly sliced
- Baked beans
- 200g kale, basil and mint leaves
- ½ cucumber sliced
- Few dried cranberries
- Some cranberry sauce or Mayonnaise
- juice 1 lime
Saute some onions in half the olive oil. Later, in the remaining oil, cook the turkey breasts on both side till slightly brown and cook well. Then, cut the turkey into long slices and toss it with cranberry sauce/ mayonnaise. Add the onions, baked beans, mixed leaves, cucumber, cranberries . Add a dash of lime and serve this yummy salad.
2] For starters- Sweet Potato Canapes
- 2 Boiled and mashed sweet potatoes
- 2 tbsp Olive oil
- 2 Onions, cut fine
- 8 to 10 mushrooms chopped fine
- Coriander leaves, chopped fine
- Some pomegranate
- Mixed herbs
- Salt to taste
- Some canapés
Saute onions in olive oil and add some mushrooms and cook for a few minutes. Mix this preparation with mashed sweet potatoes and mix some salt and mixed herbs. Fill in the canapés and garnish with coriander leaves and serve. Doesn’t it sound yummy?
3] A Kids Favorite meal- Mashed potatoes with garlic and herbs
- 200 grams hung curd
- 4 tablespoons olive oil
- Few pieces of crushed garlic
- Mixed herbs
- Few finely chopped spring onions
- Mashed Boiled potatoes
- A little margarine
- Grated parmesan cheese
- Salt and pepper to taste.
In a mixer, make a dip by mixing curd, olive oil, garlic and mixed herbs at low speed. To the mashed boiled potatoes, add this dip, spring onions, salt and pepper and a little margarine. Garnish the dish with parmesan cheese and microwave for 4 to 5 minutes. The kids are surely going to love it!
